相信唔駛多講, HP 110 既大 mon 係佢既賣點, 同我用開既 901, 係可以睇多好多野.

The large screen is one of the selling point for the HP 110, it can view more when you compare it with my 901.



佢用 Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 可以支持硬解, CPU使用極低.

The CPU usage is extreme low when you use the pre-installed Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre which supports hardware acceleration.




外形美觀, 有三色選擇, 鍵盤大小也適當.

Stylish design with 3 colours availble and the keyboard size is suitable for typing.





硬盤表現不錯.

The performance of the hard disk is not bad.


闊螢幕既好處就係可以有空間開個 MSN 等等既程式, 又唔會阻礙睇browser既內容.

The wide screen is good enough to open other applications such as MSN on the right hand side and it will not block your browser view.


奇怪, 今時今日, 藍芽要係外置既, 同類產品都算小有.

One of the strange design is the external USB bluetooth, rarely found in the netbook market.


3 cell 電只會為美觀加分, 實用性不高.

It comes with 3 cell battery which can make it slimer but it is not practical for outdoor use.


USB 插位間沒有充足既空間, 不可同時插入一般市面既 USB 產品.

The space between the USB slots are too narrow which you cannot fit 2 common USB devices together.


原來佢有預留 SIM咭槽, 可能遲吓有3豬版.

There is a hidden SIM card slot, they will probably have a 3G model in the next version?!


講真, 佢個Touchpad鍵真係用唔慣! 好討厭.

Be honest, I hate the left and right keypad button.



用了HP Mini 110數天, 以下我們對此機的評價...

After several days of using this HP Mini 110, we have summarized the pros and cons of this netbook...

優點
- 16:9 高解象度 1366x768 螢幕
- 鍵盤大小適中
- 硬淨, 輕盈, 設計時尚
- 配合Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre使用, 可支持硬解

Pros:
- 1366x768 high resolution 16:9 screen
- Large keyboard
- Solid build, light weight & fashionable design
- Supports hardware video acceleration using Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre


缺點
- 沒有內置藍芽, 而提供的方案可謂簡陋
- 沒有模擬數字鍵盤之快速鍵
- 3-cell 電
- 除了Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre, 沒有其他簡易方法可以啟動硬解功能
- 沒有運算速度選擇
- 沒有像其他廠商提供簡易還原方案
- 不方便的USB插位分佈, 插了3G modem, USB手指USB手指就插不入
- 分別在兩旁的Touchpad鍵很不方便


Cons:
- No built-in Bluetooh; USB Bluetooth included is an ugly solution
- No Fn keys for virtual num pad
- 3-cell battery
- Cannot easily enable hardware video acceleration with software and codec other than Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre
- Not included any built-in speed mode
- No easy-to-use recovery solution like other models
- Inconveient USB slot distributions, not easy to hold it if u insert any usb stick or 3G modem
- Touchpad keys are located aside

總結:
- 價錢吸引
- 可以觀看高清片, 但即時看高清電視還未可行
- 沒有內置藍芽及3.5G modem, 對流動一族非常不便
- 相對 Broadcom 晶片只支援 ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 此單一軟件作硬體高清解碼用途, Nvidia 的 ION 平台憑藉其 GeForce 晶片在市場上固有的份額, 支援高清「硬解」的軟件無疑更多更廣。再加上 Nvidia 近年大力推動名為 CUDA 的圖像處理器通用化技術，他日支援 CUDA 技術的軟件，如高清壓片軟件等的選擇會越來越多，令 Nvidia ION 平台比 Broadcom 晶片更適合成為高清 Netbook 的理想選擇。

Conclusions:
- Very competitive price
- Good for watching offline HD video files only; not good for Digital TV watchers
- No built-in Bluetooth and 3.5G; not suitable for ones who demand for mobility
- Nvidia ION platform is much better choice for HD video playback due to much braoder software support and enabling potential GPGPU technology (CUDA)
