Pineview, Moorestown, Medfield 將於 9 月 IDF 中露面

Digitimes 報導，Intel 會於 9月 22 - 24 日期間的 Intel Development Forum (IDF) 中展示新一系列的 Atom 處理器 N450 (代號為 Pineview 處理器)。
同時也會展出多部 Moorestown MID 及介紹 Moorestown 的下一個平台 Medfield 的詳盡資料。


"The chip giant is expected to announce detailed specifications pertaining to its Calpella platform for notebooks and next-generation Moorestown platform for MID products, noted the sources, adding that Intel might show engineering sample Moorestown-based MIDs, as well as revealing more details of its Medfield platform for MID's in 2011."





Intel Atom N450 (45nm 製程) 為 N270/280 的後繼處理器。在速度及效能不變的情況下可進一步減低耗電量。是流動性極高的 Netbook 的最佳良伴呢。

而 Moorestown 及 Medfield 是 MID 處理平台 Menlow 的後續平台。
效能更高而耗電量更低。有說 Moorestown 的待機耗電量是 Menlow 的 50 分之一！！那麼 Medfield 的省電能力就真的更不能低估了！
